Dhatikidiha village is situated inside the Similipal hill which is one of the border village of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar District in the west. It is nearly 40 KMs away from the block headquarters Thakurmunda. It is under the Salachua Gram panchayat which is also 20 KMs away from that village. People of that village struggle a lot for getting service facilities of the government.Health, education, sanitation conditions are not good. In that village most of inhabitants are Bathudi tribes. Mr. Dushasan Senapati aged about 35 years married Pramila Biswal six years ago and have two daughters- Sima Senapati 4 years 6 month & Jhima Senapati 2 years. Now Pramila has 8 months pregnancy. Agriculture and daily labour are the main source of their family income. They lived there with difficulty. But Dushasan had an immoral relation with Parbati Senapati aged about 18 years of same village since last 2 years. In the mean time Parbati was pregnant and ultimately Parbati Senapati gave birth to a female child on 18th April 2013 at Ghashipura CHC, Keonjhar District. Then she came to the Dushasan Senapati house of Dhatikidiha village but the family did not allow her to enter the house. She stayed nearly one month at verandah/pinda of Dushasan Senapati and took care of her infants. People of that village helped a lot specifically Ward member, AWW & ASHA for the survival of the mother and infant. The name of the infant is Barsha. People of that village had ameetting but Dushasan Senapati absconded. After getting the information we rescued on 23-05-2013. The health condition of the child was very critical in that time so that for survival & rehabilitation of the infant we sent the infant to CHILDLINE- Mayurbhanj on 24-05-2013.
