The main objectives of the project were to improve the health status and quality of life of the rural community living in remote and in-accessible pockets of Karanjia subdvn. under Mayurbhanj district through effective co-ordination with Health, ICDS (W & CD) department by formation & strengthening local institutions. We implemented MICHP project in Jashipur, Karanjia, Sukruli and Thakurmunda blocks of Panchpir sub-division. The duration of the project was five years (January’2006 to 2010) in collaboration with LEPRA society.
